The D-Max is tough, so it's only fitting that the LX has 16" drilled steel wheels to get the job done, combining fuel efficiency and reliability.

The D-Max LX Single Cab’s ultra reliable 3.0 litre turbo diesel engine is ready for anything. It has a 3,500 kg braked tow rating, and Terrain Command lets you switch between 2WD and 4WD while driving up to 100 km/h. Cruise control and a 6-speed manual transmission make driving easy.

ISUZU 4JJ1 3.0L Engine

The unwavering commitment to performance is on show in the ever popular 430Nm 4JJ1-TC Hi-power 3.0 litre engine with Variable Geometry System (VGS) turbo charger. This engine delivers practical torque for improved highway acceleration, genuine off road performance and uncompromised 3.5 tonnes towing capacity. 

6-Speed Transmission

The Isuzu D-Max LX Single Cab Ute comes with either a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission with manual select mode, offering ease of operation while providing vehicle driveability and flexibility, whether the Isuzu D-Max is used for work or play.

Terrain Command

With a hi-low gear box the D-Max is ready for what you throw at it. Shift from 2Hi to 4Hi on the go at up to 100km/h.

he Hill Start Assist (HSA) function engages automatically on significant gradients to prevent the Isuzu D-Max rolling when moving from a stationary position while the Hill Descent Control (HDC) allows a smooth hill descent at a controlled speed. 


The D-Max LX Single Cab is part of your workplace, so it’s good to know it’s packed with features to keep you safe. Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Hill Start Assist and ABS help you to stay in control, while dual front, side impact and curtain airbags are there should you need them.

6 Airbags

The Isuzu D-Max LX Single Cab Ute is fitted with Dual Front Airbags, Side Impact Airbags and Curtain Airbags, providing an excellent level of safety to front and rear seat occupants.

Side Intrusion Bars

The LX Single Cab has side anti-intrusion bars inside all doors.


Electronic Stability Control is the ultimate in active safety, using sensors to detect if you’re over or understeering.
